that isnt a plain magnet its an electromagnet, there is a magnetic field created. all live wires and moving currents create magnetic fields. maybe ill wrap the cords around a branch of one of my plants and see what happens to it lol

what if you took an iron rod and secured it to the plant stem then wound the electrical cords from your lights around that to make an electromagnet ?

yeh i just doubled the amount of light its getting, i hope it gets huge. ill post more pics in a few days

10 days - what a difference

how did those 105w cfls work out for you? did they seem like they were emitting ozone? i just bought two

they're in sockets rated for 150w. each cfl puts out 6900 lumens

it feels like its burning my nose/throat when im in there. that cant be good.

is it?

i just installed 2 105w (500 w equivalent) CFLs and now my closet smells like a hospital, cant really smell the plants anymore. its not necessarily a bad thing but im worried about them emitting ozone and hurting my plants. does anyone know if they do? the manufact. website doesnt say anything...

i had to force because of time contraints. the next round will def get to mature.
