a 400 isnt worth the wattage in my opinion. just becuz ive vegged under it all and notice the difference in growth. flowered under them also and the bigger the bulb the bigger the budskies. :fire: now i use 1000 all the way around. but i really dig the 600 becuz its the most cost effective...

your gonna need more than a 4 inch fan to cool that 1000. a 6 inch would drop your temps drastically. oh and by the way pics make it a lot easier to help when we can actually see your setup.

your actually closer to about 5.5 amps each depending on manufacturer and parts. could be a tad more with those magnetic ballasts. to run 8 lights you should need about 44 amps of 220. so a 50 amp 220 plug isnt enough with the safety factor. go bigger good luck. id pull in 60 amps to be safe...
