Hey thanks for the reply. I have just put the lids for the plastic vontainers over them to maintain humidity. I am using ph 6.5 - 7 water mixed with 1/4 strength root stimulator. Having to water with sprayer in small quantities everty 3/4 hours as the light is drying the pellets out.

Thanks for the advice. Im keeping the light on as the seeds are below the surface. Im spraying water every three hours, as the light dries the pellets out fast. Hoping i didnt give light too early.

    Really confused

I have just seen a little tap root develop out of both of my seeds (roughly 3-4mm). Have just placed under light still in their jiffy pellets. Started to give them 18:6 lighting just now. My light is about 1.5 - 2" above the jiffy pellets. does all this sound ok to you guys?

    Really confused

Hey people, Ok so following on from earlier, my seed has cracked and I can see a little bit of white within the shell, however no taproot has emergered. The seed is resting on a jiffy pellet in a propagator. As it has cracked, does this mean it is ready for light?

    Really confused

Hi Ludacris. what do you mean by "wait until they lift from jiffy"? Do i not have to wait until the seed cracks? Or do i just leave for 21-23 hours and put under light no matter what?

    Really confused

Sorry when I meant 'it', I didnt mean the roots, I meant the seed contained in the jiffy pellet. Thats right isn't it?

    Really confused

Thanks for the quick replies! Ahhh so I let it sprout a root before giving it light. Thought it was right after the seed cracks when the light was supposed to be applied. I should have just used paper towels!!!
