I love the Scrog bucket setup. I did not glue any of mine either, also have my net on a hinge on one side with swinging legs. This way I can fold it up to the wall and the legs fit nicely inside, secure and out of the way until I need it again. Wanted to share my journal with you guys, get your...

Not my first grow, not my last, always learning...

Thought I would post some new pictures of my grow. It has been basically 48 hours since the last pictures I posted, it is clear the the net is starting to fill in quite nicely. It is also evident that the plant on the left is growing faster than the right one, I'm wondering if that has anything...

Awesome! That is a good idea about the fan blowing straight up as well. I'm hoping to stick with my aero set up, although after these autoflowers I'm going with the photos and wanted to maximize my area and this seems perfect. Also I wouldn't have to make many changes really other than my...

Yea when I had my DWC setup I was watering about the same as you are now. That is part of the reason I switched systems. Some days the water was almost gone the day after refilling. Yea I do use a res now, have a LP aero setup that has made my life easier. And now whether it is night or day...

You could easily make one with 3/4". That's what I made mine from. Any size frame would be light and is also large enough to drill holes through for string, twine, or whatever you choose for netting to be threaded through. I made mine out of 3/4" and is 40" x 34" with plain old white string.

I'm curious to know how it will work out for you. Do you find water management time consuming? I know this may be based on opinion or skill level as well, meaning to a seasoned growing water management is probably something that only take a few mins. I don't feel I currently have the time to...

Awesome thanks! I did find some info last night and it clicked about ec. Yea I'm not using anything special yet besides nutes and water. Although my next grow I may try incorporating some other stuff. Still need to gather more info first.

Also wanted to post these pics, if anyone could comment on this for me. I do not do any water management besides changing out all the water, and adding fresh nutrients, I do check my ppm when adding nutrients as well. I do know some basic signs I guess, such as nute burn, signs of heat stress...

First off, want to say thanks to anyone who reads my ramblings. I joined this forum for two reasons, after a year of trolling all these different forums, this is the one I found myself visiting the most, and two I have no one to talk to about this, so it's nice to get it all out, this is a...

Question since you mentioned it, as I've said before I'm not one to do crazy water management but ec is something I have been trying to understand. I know this formula basically is to find out whether your plant is taking nutes vs water and visa versa. As I have said in other posts my water is...

Sorry to ask, couldn't find the answer...

Dude, bomb ass strain info. But I was asking about vertical growing, not necessarily strain info. I have never heard of vertical growing and wanted to know about the set up more or less. Sorry for the confusion. Still definitely gonna take notes from that info. Thanks!

Sorry to ask, couldn't find the answer...

I have been going through threads and could not find the information I was looking for, but what is vertical growing? From what I have gathered it is an uncased light hanging down to provide a growing radius surrounding it..? So if this is the case, does that mean an a/c is needed to manage...

Newbie grower wondering how long till harvest

Rock on. If I understand correctly your final weight is usually 30% of the wet weight. Although not sure how solid that is but personally I go to the low end so I can be surprised if it's more. My first harvest was a bowl pack or two ha-ha. Looks like you grow in soil? I'm know nothing about...

    A Cannabinerd's Journey

Hahaha. I'm totally down with the same idea. Usually I'm in the room yelling "Honey come touch this! Just wrap your hand around it and feel its girth!". I am talking about the buds of course, although by this time I am usually overly excited anyways bout the whole situation anyways.

Newbie grower wondering how long till harvest

I always sample my stuff after chopping. I'll cut off a couple small buds and have them speed dry for test, I love to see what is in store for me. Was this your first grow?

Newbie grower wondering how long till harvest

Looks like all your trichomes are cloudy, yout light makes it hard to see the trichomes in some pics. Best to snip a few small samples from various areas, like tiny leaf clippings, set them on white paper and look. Generally you want mostly cloudy with some scattered amber trichomes. This is...

Little help judging harvest time please.

And what a sexy photo shoot it turned out to be!! Those are some sick buds!

    How difficult is hydro?

Ahhhh, I'm using a rez also. I guess depending on how you fill it. I fill mine with 5 gallon buckets so if you know the amount of nutes you need mix it in the container then it'll get a good mix when you pour it in. Not sure how much water is absent from your rez during normal operation but this...

    How difficult is hydro?

When I was doing DWC I mixed in a separate container one gallon at a time. That way the solution is as it will be in the bucket. If you add them one at a time you risk soaking the roots with straight nutrients and I believe that is not a good idea.
