since it is the T5 it shouldnt get that hot at all. And ya thats my plan for my next grow, i am going to have 16 bulbs on top and 8 bulbs on each side of my grow box. Since they are all going to be CFLS they wont penetrate the lower growth as good as your hps so the ones on the side will help...

way to much nutes. wait until the plant is around 3 weeks old before you add them. You can either start a new grow, your not that far into this one by the looks of things, or try flushing and/or transplanting? I personally would just start a new one.

OK i woke up today and more leaves have turned yellow, it cant be heat burn because my cfls are around 5 inches from the plant. So I am thinking a transplant with just mircaclegrow. The soil mixture i have now is 50% miraclegrow and 50% some shit around the house. Any suggestions?

how many cfls are you using? And how big should i let it get before I flower it? Would 2 weeks be to soon?

i keep my cfls around 2 inches from the top of the plant. I did have the lights around 1 inch from the top which resulted in burning

it does look like heat or under watering to me. make sure to water when the soil is dried, invest in a moisture meter if you need help judging. put your hand right above your plant, if the light burns your hand then it will burn your plant.

Instead of adding the box, just keep the reflector a few inches away from the plant, and keep a fan blowing to keep the bulb cool. Or buy more lights. another thing that works to instead of that box use tin cans.
