When should someone harvest indica to give off a more of a cerebral/head high?

From what I've read you should get a 30x magnifying glass. Check out your trichomes toward the end of flowering and wait for them to get milky white. If they turn amber you missed your window and are stuck with couch lock. But that's not so bad. Good luck. :hump:

When is the earliest I could top?

Usually when it's got around 5-6 nodes. I would suggest heading to the advanced cultivation forum and reading uncle bens topping guide. Good luck. :hump:

    First time LED grow

It's just a widely debated topic around here. Don't let them cull your scientific dreams. :weed:

Planning my first grow. A few questions.

Yeah get 5 or 6 of each kind of bulb, make sure they're a decent wattage too (26+). And that's the TRUE wattage, not the incandescent equivalent. Don't be confused, it'll say the true watts on there. Only need 5-6 fixtures though, just switch out the bulbs. :hump:

Planning my first grow. A few questions.

Try to find Daylight (6700K) for veg and Warm White (2700K) for flowering. Four or five CFL's of a decent wattage (26+) should give you plenty of light. If you line the walls and ceiling of the cabinet with mylar you should have stupendous light coverage. I hear Lowryder grows super short...

no sign of sex or flower after 19 days

Yeah, get a better shot of the nodes. Could it possible that there's light leaking into the grow area?

    First Grow take 2

Yeah listen to majek and keep that fucker within a foot of the tops. Bury up to the cotyledon once you transplant. Good luck, looks like a good setup. :hump:

    First time LED grow

Cool concept, and sweet panels! :hump: I would think though that they don't produce enough lumens or have nearly the necessary light penetration for flowering. But I'm not sure how LED intensity is measured. And that's what experiments are for right? bongsmilie Subscribed. +Rep for sweet...

    TVMASDL Grow No. 1

It's from bag seed. It's turning out a lot nicer than I thought it would from bag seed, thanks! Leaves lead me to believe it's mostly indica. Love that couch lock :weed: I want to keep this one as a mother and take clones for flowering later. I want to start a small SoG grow in my closet setup...

    TVMASDL Grow No. 1

Here's some more pics, as well as a better shot of the stem that has veered off into two tops. You can see the second top a lot better in the overhead pic too. I wonder when would be alright to clone that other top, just sever it at the bottom of the V. Anybody?

    Oxygen in water question

Yeah, really. Shake it occasionally to help keep it oxygenated a little better. But air stones are the best. bongsmilie

    Yield per Square Meter

Perhaps the overall area of the plant once it has reached maturity? That's been my theory. :hump:

    transplanting outside?

Yeah it's gonna be a pretty big clusterfuck trying to sort out those roots. It's going to be impossible to do it without causing some damage. So how big are the pots? They must be pretty big for the plants to have gotten to a foot. :hump:

    enough light?

True watts right? Not the incandescent equivalent? If so, then yeah you're probably at least decent as far as lighting goes. But make sure to keep those lights within 1-2 inches from the tops of those plants. Good luck. :hump:

    Is it easy to grow?

White Widow is a sativa, they tend to grow real tall and lanky. If you're growing indoors I would suggest an indica dominant strain, as they tend to stay short and bushy and generally yield more than sativa when given a limited space to grow in. They're a pretty indoor noob friendly plant. But...
