    TVMASDL Grow No. 1

So my wife and I rigged up one of those 2L bottle CO2 deals (with the yeast and sugar, you know). We don't have any hose running to the plant or anything, just a hole in the cap on the bottle, and it's placed right next to the pot at a little below plant height. My question is, we have a fan...

    lolipopping 4 weeks into flowering

It's actually not wasting any energy really keeping them alive. It's going to eat them towards the end of flowering anyway. :weed:

    Water runoff question

So I just started feeding my little girl, and I've heard it's good in between feedings to water the next two times with regular water until you get some runoff out of the drainage holes to prevent nute salts from building up in the soil. I've got a newly transplanted young plant (20 days) in...

    lolipopping 4 weeks into flowering

Well from what I've read about the SoG method, trimming off the bottom third of the plants allows for better air circulation and increased focus on the tops. But I think you're supposed to do that from the first introduction to 12/12. I'm not sure. In theory it sounds like a solid idea. :hump:

    TVMASDL Grow No. 1

Yeah, I figured it would help with support. And I remember reading somewhere about stems being susceptible to rotting if you water them after a transplant, so I decided to make that mound and just water around it, I heard it helps with the root system too as they seek out the water that's around...

    Am I Planting it right?

Root down about 1/2 inch under the soil. Put a drainage hole in the bottom. Good luck. :hump:

    TVMASDL Grow No. 1

Alright here you go, I tried to get a good picture of the stem veering two separate directions, I'm thinking it's just weird branching. There's a shot with my wife's hand for scale, I buried it up to the cotyledon when I transplanted it. Lemme know what you think. :hump:

    TVMASDL Grow No. 1

Yeah, I've read it quite a few times now. I was just curious on those couple of things still. Thanks for the reply! So I'll feed her today, and then water the next couple times, then feed her again. + rep :hump:

    cloning???

The cutting develops roots (hopefully) and then it goes into veg for as long as you keep it on 18/6 like any other plant. :hump:

wot happens if i only give it water?

Your quality and yield will be greatly diminished, and your time to harvest will go up dramatically. And your plant might become deficient and die. :hump:

    TVMASDL Grow No. 1

Day 18 So I transplanted "her" last night, she seems to be doing alright so far. I figure I should start feeding her with my 30-10-10 nute at about 1/4 strength. Question for feeding, should I just foliar feed and water with distilled water? Or not foliar feed and water with the nutes? Or...

    yellow leaf problem please help!!

Kinda sounds like you nute burned em. I dunno what kind of grow setup you're using (soil, hydroponic, etc.) but generally you should start out your plants at about 1/4 - 1/2 strength nutes, and gradually build up over time. But that's just my guess. :hump:

    1st time grow

I can't really tell from these pics, maybe somebody more experienced will be able to tell. But feminized are never 100% female, there's always a chance of hermies. Maybe just pre-flowers? :hump:
