The sensors I'm using are 0V to 5VDC... I use the Phidgets pH Adapter and a regular BNC pH probe off eBay (cheap ones) The PPM meters (haven't purchased them yet) are also VDC 0 to 5 and there's a link a couple pages back.

I use tap water, but the water around here is so clean. It's the first city I've been in where the tap water wasn't disgusting to drink. ppm < 25 pH ~ 6.7 (I think) When I add Boost and Bloom or Boost and Veg it's usually ~6.3 then I drop to 5.8

You can always see the changes with the new leaves, I can tell if something is off just by the new nodes.

How about a piece of screen wrapped around a circular ring that can only go down the bucket so far; as to leave a 3 inch gap from the bottom of the bucket to the top of the pump to keep the suction side of the pump clear? Might need some holes for your piping, etc.

Yup, definately use mother nature to your advantage. I'm also exhausting out my attic, and have a speed controller with the inline fan (a must have!) This keeps my heater from ever kicking in, and I'm not exhausting too much of my precious heat. Also, I have to cover the hole up to the attic...
