Arduino Controlled Grow and PC Program - Work In Progress

I have just ordered a different Ethernet shield as the one I have now wasn't compatible with the new arduino IDE and has very old libraries. It's much easier to program a W5100 Ethernet shield, and so I should be able to program SQL INSERT commands to be sent via Ethernet and the arduino will be...

Arduino Controlled Grow and PC Program - Work In Progress

Big Update coming soon. Firmata is scrapped and it's much easier to add I2C, onewire, DHT, etc... sensors and the individual sensors have their own database tables that are now handled by a SQL server. "Historical" working good. You can select any range of days you want and see the graph, in...

First time growing in 10 years, tell me what you think of my setup

I've done a strain review at: https://www.rollitup.org/seed-strain-reviews/532918-greenhouse-seed-company-m-s.html The growing curve for programming as literally that, a curve... It can take a little while before you start using things from the past you've learnt, but once you get a set of...

You're like a modern Karate Kid. I know I'm having trouble waiting, especially since the still-a-little-wet bud I smoked yesterday was surprisingly good. Had to burn 'er slow though; still a little wet.

Arduino Controlled Grow and PC Program - Work In Progress

That's some deep input right there... haha.. I understand that about MS and I actually run both. I'm not sure, but I believe I could compile this for use in linux, so long as the anything to do with the serial port still works... Hmm. But meh, the code for the arduino outputs serial data, so...

    Water HELP!

I wouldn't over water and leave... Get a small rubbermaid container, submersible pump and loop some spaghetti tubing with drips to your plants and back to the rubbermaid reservoir. You're looking at about $40 - worth it to always have and worth it to save your plant(s).

eBayed mine from a guy in the US that sells nothing but the meters. I imagine a cigar shop might but you'll probably spend $50. Edit: happy birthday bro

I took a little sampler off one of my popcorn nugs today, and did a little quick-dry. It was pretty harsh, but damn it's done the job. Woo. Berk, did you say you picked up a hydrometer to put in the jars? I bought a Caliber III I'm going to test out for my first go 'round.

Arduino Controlled Grow and PC Program - Work In Progress

This is what I've got so far... Damn, I want my touch screen. http://youtu.be/0HeIQbyVDoM Edit: Lol, just noticed the 'C[zero]2' and that music was unintentional, but seemed to work out pretty good.

Handy with a drill? Quick question

Those plastic ones should be fine, doesn't look like you have much weight on them. They don't have to take the full weight, they just have to counteract the leverage.

Handy with a drill? Quick question

I prefer the metal wall anchors, personally, but it's up to you. Edit: I guess there were more pages to this thread than I thought... lol... Congrats on the setup. Edit 2: Landlord? Neighbours living room? Oh man. Edit 3: Like the railing though, provides a lot of versatility.
