where are these trichomes?

I thought I waited til 70% of the white hairs go brown but now I'm hearing about these trichome thingys - what are they?? And can I sample my plant before it's ready?

My 3 plants are now 4 weeks into flower and coming on nicely. All the fan leaves are now drooping - is this normal? Also, about 30% of the hairs on the top buds are now brown. I know I have to wait until it's more like 70% before I can harvest but how will this work when the buds are all at...

I have three plants that are 4 weeks into flower and budding nicely. The big leaves are starting to yellow and die which I believe is normal at this stage. My question is - should I cut these dying leaves off to allow more light through or just leave them to drop off naturally?

I want to grow some lowryder and they say it's an 18/6 light cycle throughout. I have nosey neighbours who noticed my lights on in my shed where I grow. The question is would I get away with 12/12 from the off?

I have 4 plants at 7 weeks old and about 12" high. They've been on 18/6 until I changed to 12/12 yesterday. I can only let them get another 12" high before I run out of height. How can I keep them low (2ft) without reducing the yield too much?

I'm five weeks in on my first grow. 4 plants about 7" tall. What size pots should I be using. People refer to these by gallons but that doesn't help. I need to know what diameter they should be. I'm using 5" dia. at the moment and plants are beginning to droop. Help!!!!
