dont feed seedlings in the first week, and even then becareful they dont need a lot. t5's you can be closer than a foot. if your in soil dont feed for two weeks. hydro maybe one week, almost two. if you do add nutes keep it just a wee wee bit.

you could adjust ph , if your water is hard by adding ph down or lemons or limes upon your soil. you might add nutes once a week to help your soil. whats your outdoor temp?

yes but with small containers it is overwatering. outdoors has a huge buffer. it ends up being a lesser of two evils. increase dehimidification process to compensate for extra water. heat and increased airflow will help. of course as said drainage is important also.
