Many of the previous posts have gone over this. LED lights rarely use their full potential as doing so reduces the lifespan of the light. Typical actual draw is 1/2 - 2/3s of the LED potential in watts.

People usually place them up high to help keeping temperatures down since hot air rises.

His plant or in general? From what I've read Hermi's are caused by stress which can include: wild swings in temperature, pruning, disruption in light cycles etc. Genetics plays a large part of hermi's as well I think.

That seed should have been planted already I'm thinking. Set up looks nice, if the light is switchable think about getting a MH bulb for it for vegging your baby as the blue spectrum is better for vegging. Ideal RH for vegging is 60-70 and 40-60 during flowering. Ideal temps are mid 70s lights...

Well I was using an old Nikon coolpix 4300 (like 4.2 megapixel) that photos MJ pretty well. I only stopped using it when the CF card got corrupted. After that CF card died I just used an old canon Powershot s30 (think it's a 3.4 megapixel or something) that produces amazing macro shots of my girls.
