lmao... I was high when I posted that... one sec HERES the pic... but it wont look like that for long. I just fixed it up so It should look alittle better now... moved the CFL's higher and tilted the T8's ... so I have the plants under all the lights no... and Ima enclose them all in a mylar...

I mean like... this 50 watt HPS is just like a bulb you screw into a socket... would you need a ballast for it you think? or would it be able to plug into a normal house held 120volt socket?

mmmm basically, think about it. plants outdoors wouldnt get any light would they? I mean my plants get light leaks sometimes and they do fine. but its not good for them to have long periods of light leaks.

I was at lowes the other day and I saw some 50 watt HPS there, I was wondering if a 50 watt HPS needs a ballast or not.

ok so... heres my problem. I have... a workshop Flourescent strip, 8x 20watt CFL's and 3x 40watt CFL's. Problem Im having is hanging them all above my plants. I only have 4 plants. Anyone have any plans on how to set up all of my lights? I have more then enough room for any wacky idea's. Big...

Btw, 1 1/2 - 2 inches away is to close, I keep mine 4 inches away from mine... specially with 100 watt CFL's My 80 watt CFL's burnt the hell out of mine and did the same thing they are doing to yours. I had much better esults keeping them at 4 inches away. The 2 inch rule really only applies...
