Maybe i'm looking at this the wrong way, but my logic is the earthtrainer will probably conserve water pretty well. Using a 30 gallon tub i could probably create a resevoir of about 10 gallons. Would that not be enough for two months?

how many plants do you think the 50 gallon drip system could support for two months?

haha thanks for the offer. Like i said though my area doesn't get much rain. Last year 0.05 inches for the months i will be gone for. Anyways, you think if i make the Earthtrainer with two plants in each there will be enough water?

the area i live in doesn't get that much water. any idea by any chance about how any gallons of water a plant would take for two months. The earthtrainer seemed like a good idea because there is no water loss.
