What I do is in the last feeding of veg, I will give the girls a quarter dose of bloom nutes, with 3/4 the normal dose of veg nutes. Then the next feeding 50/50, then 75 (bloom)/25 veg). I believe this will give them enough Nitrogen to last throughout flower (indicas at least).

What kind of light are you using? What kind of soil are you using? How old is it? What kind of nutrients are you using? What size container is it in? Are you regularly checking pH? All these questions will help diagnose your plant issue...

This. Precisely. It is important to reiterate/note that it feeds microbes in the soil...not the plant itself (i.e. no uptake via xylem). This is a commonly confused aspect.
