I can pick up the hydro whenever, I just thought soil would be easier to learn with for my first time. Or is it so different that if I want to ever do hydro I should just start with it?

found a Horticulture 400 Watt MH HPS Grow Light System Set Kit $90 on ebay that Id use along with CFLs I already have lying around the house, thanks for the replies. Can anyone fill me in on a tent, or maybe a DIY kinda thing?
