9lb Hammer Fast pheno Day 50

Just read through this whole thread. And thank you for running the experiment. I've played around with the flip time a bunch. I now go 11.5/12.5 at flip which trips flowering quicker than 12/12 especially the sativa dom strains. I've also gone 10/14 for a whole grow and couldn't really see any...

My grandma used to take a knife and cut 1/2" down the side in 3 places and then cut an X on the bottom of root bound plants during transplant.

Again there is nothing wrong with fan leaf stems and even the main stock getting purple/red streaks in them. Basically it shows that the plant is using stored sugars and carbs. If you notice near the end of grow when the fall colors are popping up, the yellowing leaf will have totally purple...

I did a 1k hps grow when I first got the ballast. I can't complain with the results of that grow. But they always looked a little stressed. My recommendation is to experiment with your space, and see what works best for you. There are other factors, like heat, air flow, and space limitations...

Agreed don't mess with it. I have one comment though. Next round wrap duct tape or paint the container, I see a lot of green growin' in there.

I'd have to agree that the green is not enough. My 2gal buckets have made many runs and the paint has chipped and I'll see little green spots and I'm sure they line up with the flaked off areas.
