Hey guys, finally I decided that the 12/12 idea was the best route. I've done it and finally I'm seeing buds!! I'll put up some photos before long when they become more impressive :)

Thanks lowblower, really appreciate your advice. I've been thinking about doing this myself.. just hurts to lose out on the harvest by putting them on 12/12.. If by next week I still see nothing I think I'll do just that.

Please.. somebody write something.. I'm pretty worried about not getting any buds yet and I'd really appreciate some input.

If I were to guess, I'd say you're gonna reap at least an "o" per plant. I'm curious though, how long did it take till you saw actual buds forming on your plants? Kind of worrying about mine.. I'm on day 63 and still no bud formation but plenty of pistils on the plant..

Hey guys, I'm on day 63 of growing these 3 autos and 1 suspected auto. As you can see in the photos (I hope) the pistils are coming out everywhere.. but still no signs of buds forming yet. Is it normal for autos to take so long? To give you an idea of my setup: 1000w HPS: lighting schedule...

Apparently legumes are "nitrogen-fixers" and will preserve higher levels of nitrogen in the soil.. Also there are some plants that push roots down really deeply thereby pulling up nutrients that plants use from further down in the soil. I'm still learning but maybe there are other ideas out there?

I was curious if anyone employs the idea of permaculture while growing their cannabis? For example does anyone plant their cannabis plants next to plants that produce nitrogen or perhaps plant other plants that prefer more shade beneath their cannabis plants etc?

I'm not sure if this has been done before but I've been thinking about it a lot lately as spring slowly creeps up on us. I was thinking: instead of buying expensive 30 gallon pots I would dig a thirty gallon hole in the garden and then fill it with a proper growing medium like Fox Farm Ocean...

Well I guess I like it for one because it burns more evenly and slowly. But it is true that the taste factor is ruined (if that's what you're referring to?).. dunno, just love it ha ha!!
