you want 6500k bulbs for veg. 2700k for flower. i use both spectrums for veg and flower but i change the ratios around.

im not too sure man... my cab is quite a bit smaller than a closet and it seemed like before i had an intake and exhaust it was gettin too hot. I dont even have a thermometer but i could just tell things were gettin too hot.

Wattup Southbuds... IMO I don't think its worth using cfl's to grow more than 3 plants. Reason being, by the time you have "enough light" for 6 plants using CFL's you might as well use HID lighting. If you run that many CFL's your cab will get hot and your gonna need to run fans for an intake...

Looks like your lights need to be alot closer man! Should be no more than 2" away from tops...

I guess theres been studies that when you have a plant on a 24 hour light schedule your plant is constantly producing sugar. I think if you want to keep your plants a little shorter and busher or if your training your plants 24 veg. is definately the way to go. Oh and yes this is my first grow...
