    You could use a simple TDS meter, which would only give you an idea of how hard the water is, not just the Calcium content. You can get a report from your water company (these are sometimes posted online). Too much Ca in your water can indeed cause problems.

    True. The further into flowering, the longer they will take to root and put out new foliage, but I've taken cuts right up until harvest day and gotten them to root.

    Absolutely! It must be disguised as something else, like hot air from a dryer or hot water heater or it must be diluted with cooler air before being vented to the outside.

    I don't think he wants to reveg the entire plant. It looks like he wants to take a clone in late flowering so he can continue to clone this variety. It is possible to do this but either way, revegging can take a long time and requires a good deal of patience.

    lol! I've talked to tomato growers who use a crushed up tums watered into the soil to cure blossom end rot (Calcium Deficiency). My suggestion would be to wait until you get paid and buy a quart of cal-mag. That's one nutrient every cannabis grower should have in their toolbox.;-)
