That swordfish is still a UVC lamp although it was designed to be put into ducting or at the furnace. I guess I was wondering seeing as it is a UVC lamp if you could "modify" it or just use it some way in with your plants? Be nice if there was some accurate data on how much at what exposure...

Sorry for the double post but I found the manufacturers site. www.swordfishuv.com and it appears they now how a unit that they sell and advertise as being so safe and quiet that you can keep it in your bedroom. Anyone want to have a look and see what you think?

Latest Canadian Tire flyer here in Canada has a UVC light system that goes into a central air unit on sale for $99.95 interesting.. It's called the "Swordfish" and is made in Canada too. I wonder if it could be modified at all for our purposes?
