Hey guys. Im waiting for my Light Mix and nutes to arrive right now. My tapwater pH is at about 8. Will the Light Mix/nutes buffer/correct it or will I need to correct it? If so - will my aquarium pH- work? I dont have any soil pH meter, and the runoff is always alot lower then the actual soil...

Thanks brother. Yeah I will start with the Light Mix for now, trying to learn as much as possible about reading the plants and how theyre doing. Is there any soil that wont require any additional nutrients throughout the grow?

Thanks man, I appreciate you taking time for such a detailed reply. However I just ordered BioBizz Light Mix along with their nutes.. Ill make sure to get the FFOF next time though! They dont have these products over here so I have to order overseas. :( If I could get it locally id get ffof too...

Hmm, perhaps a lil bit smaller than a partycup. Anyway, im pretty sure it was to much light that caused the burn. I changed to a smaller led at a generous distance from the plants. All my fellow growers use the regular potting soil from seed with other stuffs added, bone, blood, ash etc etc...

Ok. Sooo, I checked the pH and it turned out to be a bit high after all. Perhaps to high for the seedlings. Strange though as I never heard anyone with pH problems around here. Anyway, i have some aquarium pH-. It should work for watering soil to right? Could it cause a problem with biobizz nutes?

Thats the best parable I think Ive ever read. Yes, I have a ph and ppm meter. Its about 130ppm from tap. I didnt bother checking the pH as i know all people here dont correct it and never have problems. Ill check it to make sure though.

Thanks. I transplanted to smaller pots with only light soil+perlite instantly after i read your reply. I also misted the soil lightly with weak dose of DynaGro KLN. I hope my babies recover :'(

Oh, great reply. All my questions answered. Well they popped above soil like yesterday. Then i just misted her and the top of the soil and inside the plastic cup. I removed the 1kw 3000k led and put in a 300w marshydro 1gen led about 30-40cm above the cups, that shouldnt be too hard on them right?

Just misting them in the plastic cup? Or should i give them another cup of water? Will the roots still find their way down if theres no water down there?

Thanks for your reply bud. When I grew in coco thats exactly what I did. I just dont know how much to water right now.. I misted the top of the soil and inside the party cup standing over the seedling today. So far they seem happy with the small amount i gave them when planting the seed...
