I dont know what to use ,a 250 hps or t5 ho. Im leaning more to the "t5" , less heat, electric bill wont get to high,less risk of fire..now the hps is said to yield more,with that said i want to know lumen for lumen ,are they the same results or not!!! ,just in case anyone wants to know the grow...

racer im afraid a 400watt hps in a 4by5 space might be too much heat wise, plus it could raise the temp up top in veg area or worse a possible fire, i will have to plug the digital ballest into a regular 110 outlet is there any precautions i can take

Racer what do u think of a grow box 48"wide 48"deep and 8feet high, top 3 feet for veg and bottom 5 feet for flower, would a 250hps be good for the flower stage ,im thinking about 6-8 plants , i have a 48"ho t5 2 bulb for veg which i think should be good im just curious about the lights for...
