i agree with xbox...the air flow is better with the carbon filter on the outflow end. If you want to pull clean air in and still use a filter best bet is to use a pleated natural air filter...home depot would carry it

how often do you water?when in flower the plants have a higher thirst level....

gonna start flowering the second set up...1 big red, and two unknown ladies

so i tossed a big red clone in this baby at the begining of the week and shes got tons a little root growth. another week and it will be loaded with roots. so i now intrust this setup.. just put two cheese clones in as well, maybe gonna pick out more clippings today? pictures soon

so decided to start flower now instead of another month...gonna leave the metal halide running untill end of next week then im gonna put the hps in.. still no pics...hopefully soon

:hump: So I just went shopping yesterday for grow closet #2 supplies and equipment. THis closet is a lot bigger and perfect almost. Picked up another 400w hps/mh conversion light, ducting, 6" inline, timer,,ect the usuall. I ended up moving my 2 unknown tall (chucksticks), the big red, panama...

No because once flooding the plant, let it exceed about 20 percent drainage or so, the nutes are broken down easier when flooded. Then no water for a few days to dry the soil out. As far as what ive seen and been told thats how its done. The explanation can be found in any basic biology book

within the next few days i plan on going out to get a little cabinet for this to be stationed in. then when completely done gonna have some nice clippings ready for cloning. a few cheese clones for sure, maybe big red as well. have to see from there

I am an organic grower and taking your are well just ignore the ppms...just use the the amounts needed (1/2 tbs=5gal) then increase when put in bigger pots... do math as they grow...lol as for watering, i hear moisture sohould be ~20% but again I ignore, watering twice a day lightly getting...

I do it right when the light shuts off but 3 hrs is plenty. Nutes Usually its about 2/3 table spoon for the 5 gal and double the dose for the 10 gal. Your ladies look like a 1/2 tbsn would be fine though. Sprinkle it on top of the soil, keep at least 1 inch or so from main trunk/stem. usually...

way to go man...guano is really good for high N count. and the misting will help. just make sure not to mist too heavily so it is absorbed/ dried up before the lights come back on

hmm...not to sure then. I notice that my plants will wilt a little with the temp around 85 and no fresh air circulating (i.e. if my closet door stayed shut all 18 day hours).
