Yes go ahead and LST them whenever you want. Its called LOW STRESS training for a reason. If dont do anything catastrophically wrong then LST should never stress a plant enough to make it go hermie.

I dont think it would be that hard at all to mail clones. Theres no way that they would get crushed if you mailed them in a little box. I think even one of them bubble envelopes would work fine if you could find a way to keep them stem moist.

I reuse soiless mix alot. Just let the used mix get bone dry, separate the dead roots, load the mix into your pots and flush the hell out of it a few times and your ready to plant in it.
