Update! I decided that i would mark the male pods with paperclips and keep an eye on them, i found that the pods in fact opened up and let out lots of pistols. Does kinda suck to think about all the clusters of them that i cut off :cry:

Yea, just started my first DWC. I do hope that i can get something out of this tho, I've been trying to find a picture of a male pollen sack thats open so i can crush one or two of these things and find out if thats what its going to open up and become.

How long does it usually take for the sacks to open? Or do you think its already too late to bother with picking them off?

Damn =/ Any chance of getting anything out of it? It's a single child.
