Paulio, I have been doing the same as you. Snipping off a small leaf right by the bud that is covered in trichomes.

So i should snip a small piece of bud? Would the small "sugar" leaves suffice for an accurate examination?

The samples that I used were small underdeveloped buds on the lower part of the plant. I got high. Can't say that it was amazing or anything. I fed what I think to be the last feeding yesterday and I am going with only water and turbinado sugar here on out. So two weeks or so and its CHOP time!

I smoked both the purple and teal colored buds out of my glass bong. Teal tasted better than purple. Buds were dried rather quickly. Don't know if I could taste the food coloring. Still got pretty high. I will probably hold out on this when I harvest. Want to go for a clean and pure smoke.

Friend brought some from Cali back to Central Florida in his underwear gooch pocket. It was in an air tight baggie. 3.5 grams

UPDATE! Day 79/Day 54 FLOWER Watered today at around 150% strength FF Tiger Bloom and 2 tbl. spn. turbinado sugar/gallon. This will be the last nute feed. Water and sugar from here on out.

I am curious where would be the best spot on the plant to take a sample to look at the trichomes. It seems as I take random samples that sometimes I see amber tirchomes and then others I do not. If I look at a fan leaf, I tend to see more amber tirchomes than if I were to look at small bud...

It looks like nute burn on the leaves. What is your feeding schedule like? What nutes do you use? pH?

The plant in the 3rd pic doesn't look too good.
