Light nute burn, just lower dosage?

Hello all. I've uped my dose of nutrients from 1/4 strength to a little under 1/2 strength. I've noticed a small amount of nute burn on some of the tips. But mostly on the older leaves. If I was to just go back to 1/4 strength or even a little less for a watering or two would I be ok and not...

    Grams per 1000 watt bulb

Hello all. My question is what is your best yield per 1000 watt bulb. I see alot of people arguing over "gram per watt". I understand there is more to that equation like length of veg time and veg lights, fans and so on. My question is gram per bulb (1000 watt in this instance). I can't seem to...

    Too many roots?

It is totally safe. I did much research before hand. It's organic I believe the active ingredient is called spinosad. Haven't seen one bug since. The lady's seem to not mind it either. It smells like a strong dirt smell haha.

    Too many roots?

Seen a few of what appeared to be thrips or some other kind of small crawly bugs. So just to be safe I sprayed 2 times 4 days apart. While checking the roots for possible aphids is when I noticed the may be rootbound.

    Too many roots?

Been flowering for 2 days now. I let things dry out a lot more between waters and been useing heavier nutes than I was. Things seem to be doing a lot better. They have greened back up and stopped drooping.

    Questions about early flowering.

Is it good to continue veging nutes for a week or two? If so do I start my flowering additives right away mixed in also? Or just the veg nutes

    Questions about early flowering.

Hello I have been growing my own medicine for years and just recently discovered the online forums with the large amount of knowledge. I always do pretty good on yield I just know there is always room for improvement. My question about early flowering is I have always started flowering nutes...

    Simple ph question

Ok watered last night and this morning things looked alot better. I ran ph of 6.4 in that watering. So I'm thinking my ph was too low. I'll continue to run slightly higher ph and see how that does. I can't seem to get runoff unless I water like a gallon or so into my 5 gallon pots. So i could...

    Simple ph question

Thanks for the response guys. I've got a blue labs ph tester. I have been running half strength nutes for the last 4 weeks and ph'ing to 5.8-6.2 and I've got some leaf drooping and slight yellowing but it could be from under feeding.I was just trying to check everything over.

    Simple ph question

Well I thought it was but I can't find much on it. Im using promix HP and I'm going to water till I get runoff tonight and check the ph. If it needs to either rise or lower can I do that by either raising or lowering the ph of my feedings? Or is it somthing that has to be flushed out to be...

    Finally got a pic.....Thrips?

Finally snapped a photo of what I have been seeing. I look very hard to find them but if I stay at it I'll find one or 2. Occasionally I'll run by a leaf that appears to have a patch of larvae on the underside near the bottom of a plant. Also I have found the normal silver patches from them.

    OVER WATERED? SOMETHING ELSE?

Well the bug spray showed up. I still have only ever seen a few of these so called "thrips" but this stuff is supposed to work great.

    Too many roots?

Honestly that's my problem......I'm too indecisive and I want to take everyone's advice! If I would not have even pulled the plants out (which I have never done in the past) I would never know how the roots looked. Truthfully I know that I'm going to do 1212 tonight. I'm just a worry wort and...

    Too many roots?

Well the main reasons are low ceilings......like 6'6". And no other pots also. I would like to transplant but I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off. I could add a few inches of promix in the bottoms. So more than others. They all settled slightly and I usually leave an inch or two of...

    Too many roots?

I wait till they are decently dry but not too dry. the good thing is this strain is 100% done 8 weeks from flip. so they only have to make it 56 days. what would you consider good watering discipline for my scenario?

    Too many roots?

Yes I was going to begin 1212 today. Like flip the lights when I get home. I just got worried about potentially loosing out on yield because of being rootbound. I appreciate the input. I would like not to haveto pull them out if I didn't have to. They almost feel stuck in the buckets and I have...

    Too many roots?

Question, if I was to skip the whole slicing and dicing or shaking of the roots and just added 3 or 4 inches of new promix at the bottom then sat the plant on top of that, would it be fine? Or does it have to be cut or pulled apart to initiate new growth?

    Too many roots?

I always forget it's just a weed haha. I'll use a good sharp sterilized pair of scissors and remove the tangled balled up roots. Thanks.

    Too many roots?

When you say cutting of the roots you basically mean un tangle them? Or actually cut the knotted root growth off?
