    Harvest Time: A Tutorial

Some of the buds are darker than the others. Could I have chopped them too soon?

    Keep flushing?

Thanks Dr. Bloom! Can you answer a question for me? Last night I started harvesting my first plant. By the time I got finished trimming what I had cut, it was way past my bedtime, lol. I needed to water that one that you said to give 1/2 strength nutes too so I mixed it up and as I was finishing...

I don't know how to do that yet. I put the trimmings and popcorn buds and in a cardboard box in my flower room

Is this a decent trim for a first timer?

    Keep flushing?

I thought the idea of flushing was for me to try to rid the salts from the soil, not necessarily the plant?

    Keep flushing?

On those girls in soil I used grow and then as soon as i switched the lights i went straight to bloom, the recommended dose for every watering. The pots are 10 gallon so it takes 3 or 4 days to dry out. I was also using cal mag at 1 tsp per gal and maybe I shouldn't have since I was using tap...

So is dyna gro considered a hydro nutrient? And is every other watering only, good for the entire grow in soil?

    Keep flushing?

I burnt the shit out of her and it looks like she's still got quite awhile to go. I've flushed with 6 gallons of water for the last 3 waterings which has been over a week. Should I just keep flushing till the end or feed something?

Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster Grow)

Quick question. What do you do with the waste water from the RO? I just filled a 5 gallon bucket to get about a cup of RO water. Is this normal?

Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster Grow)

Got it I think! So after I get my RO hooked up and I have 50 ppm water and I want 400 ppm total. I just add enough nutes to equal 350 ppm. Right?

Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster Grow)

Ok. Well I'm in the process of hooking up an RO system right now so that worry will be gone. Thank you.

Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster Grow)

I'm actually hooking up my RO filter tonight. I'm confused though. So if I was using 400 ppm water and I wanted to feed a total of 600 ppm, would I still feed 600 ppm nutes and my TDs meter would read 1000? Or I only use 200 ppm nutes?

Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster Grow)

My Tap water is 400ppm. I don't count that in the equations correct?

Dyna-Gro vs General Hydroponics (Dumpster Grow)

I've been reading through this tread for 2 days now. Very interesting and I've learned a lot. What im not seeing though is the feed chart that was determined to be optimal through all stages. If its in here, would someone be so kind as to let me know what page its on. I have all of DG's products...

Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

Thanks. I'll try that. Can you tell anything from this pic? There appears to be some new lime green growth at the tip. At first I thought it was seeds.

Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

I have a 25x loop and a 60x led mini microscope. I guess I have horrible eyes because I can tell the difference between clear and cloudy with the loop and the mini led I think I'm seeing mostly cloudy with maybe 1 or 2 amber here and there.
