I think they can work well for veg but when flowering comes is when they really lack the output I think combined with your other lighting it should work well, can't hurt at least How much wattage are they using? I would think that they work better than CFL's... right?

Yeah I have had similar leaves in the beginning of veg, they should split and form the regular fingers over time It looks like the new set of leaves are fine so I doubt you will see any more leaves like that good luck and keep up the nice work bro
