nice, 2.5g isn't too shabby. I have to do like 4 big runs in the 5 gal buckets in order to get like 14g so yeah it takes a lot of material. The frostier the trim and the less waste you have in your trim the more it will yield.

Yes it was already topped once that's why it had two tops. You can do it multiple times on plants that are more stubborn to branch. Others if you top them too much they might actually become too branchy. And no, bending not required.

Auxin is produced by the growth tip. Removing only the tip will accomplish what you want without cutting all sugar production to the roots. Yes they will recover, but removing a shitload of growth isn't helpful in any way.
