The myco beasties in your soil love the sucanat and there is nothing in there in any great concentrations to mess up the run the to final line.... you can flush or not.... The question about mollasses? Mollasses are pressed out of Sugar cane. Sucanat is a less refined version.....

Folks this may seem a little off the wall ... but has anyone ever considered putting an air stone is the bottom of their pots? I am going to be going all organic and in 7 gallon pots... since the Myco beasties love aerobic conditions do you think it might help to run an airstone for say 10...

Has anyone ever considered putting an airstone in the bottom of the dirt pots and running it for a few minutes each hour? If the myco herd seems to like moist and aerated wouldn't this be of help to the dirt growers? Anyone? thoughts?
