Hey thanks to everybody for there answers you've been very helpful I've got a 600 w dimmable ballast from omega do I'm go put my girl under the hps at 250w and work my way up to 600w. How close you think I can get bulb at 250w? ✌️

Oh right not long to go! I'm also having the drama of deciding between a cool tube light or an open reflector but the heat out here in Jamaica is no joke!! it's hot without a light so thinking cool tube would be better. Wish you a happy harvest!!

Yeh gotcha they just popped out the ground but want them under the hps as soon as possible, my other girls under the hps are 16-18 inch away from canopy. So It's a balance between stretch and burn lol

Hey guys thanks for your advice really appreciate it. Think I'm gonna keep them under the Cfl for a week or two and move them over and update how I get on!
