It is my understanding that indicas produce a body high, relaxing, best for evening use…sativas produce a head high, energizing, for daytime use.

Going to let her fully ripen…it’s the only way to determine whether she’s a sativa or indica. I took clones earlier and have a mother indoors. I’ve never seen such thick buds throughout. Grown from seeds obtained from Northern Afghanistan.

Thanks for the reply. I have one plant…unknown strain…that shows characteristics of both sativa and indica. Likely a hybrid. Not sure how to harvest her. Take her early, or wait until I see more amber. It is a quandary.

3rd year grower here. Still learning the ropes. Question…I’m prepping to harvest this season’s outdoor grow…a garden of both sativa and indica plants. Will harvesting an indica early in the harvest window provide for more of a head high…on the flip side, will taking a sativa late in the widow...

Seeds were obtained from northern Afghanistan. Grew very well outdoors in southern Arizona with daily temps at 100° plus for the majority of the growing season. Thought at first that I had some Mazar-I-Sharif, but they lack red stems and pink/ref stigmas. Anyone have any thoughts what the strain...

I’ve been growing both indoors and outside for three years and have never had an issue with clones until now. I take cuttings and place them in bottles of spring water until roots appear. To date I’ve had about a 50% success rate using this method. Currently, I have several Mazar-I-Sharif...

Yes…it’s Barney’s Gold. Grew it outdoors last year and it did quite well in the Southern Arizona heat. Would love to find some of the proper seeds. Same with the Afghan. Name your price.

Current grow includes Afghan Kush, AC/DC, Blue Dream, Northern Lights, Skunk #1, White Widow, and Acapulco Gold. Been growing almost 2 years. Still learning the ropes.

I’m looking for the maximum sedative effect from the Afghan, so amber it is.

So, if I understand this correctly, to achieve the maximum effect, whether it be sativa (head), or Indica (body), allow the trichromes to go approximately 20% amber?
