I appreciate the link. I guess what I was referring to were the "renowned" landrace strains that became famous in the weed smoking world of the mid-1970's. Acapulco Gold, Panama Red, Red Columbian, Oaxacan, Thai, Hawaiian, etc. I know I have tried many seed venders who say they have those landrace strains, too....but so far, the results have shown me that people can say they have anything they want to say. It might be people who really believe it, too, because they weren't alive and smoking weed back then and so they just have legendary stories to go from. They have no real-world knowledge. I stopped believing in the new wave of exotic plants being able to produce what I'm looking for. A big reason is that I know there are some guys like Kevin Jodery, who have made it their mission to revive the old smoking strains.....and they still haven't gotten there.
Looking at many of those strains on that website....I have no idea what any of that stuff would be like as far as smoking it goes. Botanically, they are interesting AF!
