Rdwc, roots crushing it, but stunted vegetation. End of 2nd wk veg.

So it's been 4 days since adding RO water and reducing EC to .2 and seems to be bouncing back. New growth coming up lighter green. Seem to be doing more stretching. Went and got all new nutrients the other day. Will introduce the new nutes sometime next week starting out super low, ~.3, and will...

Rdwc, roots crushing it, but stunted vegetation. End of 2nd wk veg.

Haven't completely ruled out magic green. It could be the cause. I'm going to avoid it next round. Or just test it on one plant. Air pump seems to be running as it did when I first bought it. Right now my ec in the system is .2, it was .6, but I dumped a bunch out and added straight RO water...

No changes in the last 24. Heck, no changes in the last week or so except the roots development. Not the genes. Not auto flower. So far this has happened to the second round of cherry pie I had in there. Some snow land. And now gorilla glue 4. I don't think it's too much light. I have almost...

Checked for bugs and no bugs. Ph whole time has been anywhere between 5.8-6.3 which is always where I've kept it n the past with no problems. Ph and ec meter both seem to be working fine. Thinking maybe some bad cal mag causing lockout. maybe bad drip clean not doing its job. Maybe bad silica...

Rdwc, roots crushing it, but stunted vegetation. End of 2nd wk veg.

Roots are good. Thinking more. I've had the same bulbs in for maybe a year, not in constant use, but easily 2 cycles. Don't really think that's my problem. Some of my nutrients did get too warm at some point just don't remember which ones and didn't throw them out and im not sure if this...

A few pics of my problem. Branches aren't shooting up like they normally would at 2.5 wks and are showing pistils.

Anybody else? With all the success I've had in the past I can only think that my problem is with some nutes that may be bad. Perhaps they were stored in an area too warm and are causing a lockout? But there is no discoloration. Just hardcore stuntin'. They're like 6-8" tall. None of the branches...

I like them stretching a bit since I have 12 plants taking up a 10x16. Three rows of four with a 1k watt above each one. Could use a little more spacing between nodes. Will def try 24/0 on my new 6 site I'm planning to build.

Do you still flip at end of wk 3? I've thought of it, but I honestly think they benefit from a little lights out. I'm usually good to flip at end of wk 3 without the little bit higher bill. Now if you flip at end of wk 2 and ur still getting at least a bow per 1k, let me know. But if ur plants...

12-1000w I've used for the last two rounds (~6mo's). I have them on a 12 light controller where I have 6 on half the light cycle, then the other 6 on the second half of light cycle. If its cold enough outside ill run all of them on at same time. 18/6 by the way.

For what it's worth I did 12-8 gal buckets 5' apart in a rdwc with NO water chiller and still had a decent run. Water temps in the buckets were easily into the high 80's and low 90's on the very hot days. Didn't have bacteria problems because of running hydro guard by botanicare I'd assume. Also...

Normally don't need to come here looking for answers but this has been an ongoing thing with the last four rounds I've put into my system. So I've lost a fair amount of time and money on this. Basically I transplant into the system, make sure water level is good and hand water the rocks until...

    NW greenhousers: anti-condensate poly plastic?

what do you do specifically underground? Bury ducting in ground, have it come up and into the GH connected to an inline fan so the air is cooled a little before it comes into the GH? or do you just shut your normal shutters that are pulling air in at night, and just have air being pulled in from...

    NW greenhousers: anti-condensate poly plastic?

Would like to have some feedback on anti condensate poly plastic for greenhouses in humid areas. Would like to know what has, and hasn't worked for you for keeping humidity down and keeping condensation down. I will be installing vents on the west side of the GH, and big vent fans on the East...

    West Michigan RDWC Greenhouse

Thanks for the suggestions panhead, i'll edit post sometime this wknd and outline the questions for easier answers from people. Panhead, what do you use for geothermal lines? PVC? I plan to have the typical undercurrent setup, where all your buckets are the same size (13 gal) and connected by...
