Update: Pretty good little visit today. Evicted another male from the mix, planted 4 females in the ground (25L bags), AND put up a fence around the entire plot. Seems pretty sturdy as well, just bought a 50m roll of roofing mesh (about $80) so alot cheaper than proper garden fencing from...

Left a waterbottle upside down slow dripping around the stem, trying to "extend" each watering. If it works well ill be doing this for each plant to reduce visits to the patch. Going out in the morning to water before the sun starts to kick in too, till then.

Transplanting today as temps have dropped alot overnight :) Should have about half of them in ground by this arvo. I know ive left it too late, as some of the taller ones are root bound, just havent had the $$$ for everything until today, FINALLY! Should be a productive afternoon :)

We survived the storm, much to my relief :) There was one pot slightly tipped over but it was resting against another so no harm done. The recent downpour topped up my water source as well, making it a little easier to access. Looks like we're in for another week of sunshine and mid 20's too...

Parents arrive home today so had to move them back out to the bush. Starting to see the third set of leaves come through on a few, the white ice is lagging abit but still doing ok. Had a pretty hot spell this week @ 28-30deg each day :) pretty stoked.
