That's how I do it.. This is the same method most of us were showed in Kindergarten. Keep it simple :D A FOAF of mine just used their AG to sprout the seeds and some got lost / stuck down in the bottom. IMO the paper towel is the best / easiest way to do it.

It makes sense that the two starter tablets aren't nutes because they are meant for the seeds. I knew nutes shouldn't be given that early. :shock:

Vette.. I appreciate the response. I will start adding the nutes now :) Did you happen to add an extra air pump / air stone into the setup for increased oxygen / mist? Your log inspired me to get this AG.. Now I just need to get my hands on a wonderful strain! I am trying to get some local...

I created a thread under plant problems and I think the problem is a PH problem. I will be using RO water from now on and also getting a PH kit...

Thank you for the advice... any idea where I can get a PH meter and PH down besides online? I don't know of many hydroponic stores by me but I will start looking right now!

Hey guys.. I have been doing some reading on the boards and noticed my plants have symptoms of either PH spotting or Nute Toxicity. These fellas are approx 2 weeks old. I am new to h20 and recently picked up an Aerogarden. The only nutes I have put in so far is the starter nutes it comes with...

That's the plan... I am not liking the slight browning of my leaves.. I am hoping it is due to the cold and not too much nutes. The only nutes I used so far is the 2 starter ones it comes with. I was hoping to give it the grow nutes on Wednesday.. What do you guys think?

Perhaps it's different on the AG 6 model? There is no strawberry setting but when I hold in select for 5 seconds the light turns on and then it goes right off. When I hold in reset for 9 seconds I see the nutes and replacelight bulbs blinking but the light doesn't go on. Do I need to hit...

That sounds like a good plan.. I will get a air pump ( I have one laying around somewhere ) and add some more air stones :). How did you manage set the garden on 24-0?

You should be able to use the HPS and the CFLs together without any problem. Just be careful not to burn it :)
