I agree with the temps you speak of. I put (3) 42W CFLs in my small cab and temps rose to over 95°F quickly. Im not sure how accurate this is since there are no plants in the cab and the thermometer was a cheap indoor/outdoor sitting in direct light but I still don't want to have to worry about...

Thanks a million. I saw a video similar comparing vortex to valueline. The valueline actually beat the vortex. I have a couple threads on here that have kind of ran together and I apologize. They were meant as separate questions and I appreciate everyone's responses.

So how do you adjust a vortex's speed and know how many CFM's its pushing?

Vortex sounds like the way to go. I know they are adjustable as far as air flow but how adjustable? Are there settings for specified CFM flows or is it just turn the knob and its either faster or slower?

All of that makes a lot of sense. But now my question is this...can a fan be too small for a filter? It makes sense that it should "scrub" better at a slower air flow but can it be too low? If I understand you correctly you are saying is that I need a filter that exceeds my max fan speed but...
