    Do I need more light???

Thanks for the input. Too close? They are almost 4 weeks now so I wouldnt call them seedlings. However I get your points. I had a CFL too close to a younger plant and it got burned. I nursed it for a week with no signs of recovery. So I trashed it. The other two appear to be doing well under the...

Watering how much is too much???

I liked your advice. I am going to be sticking to my watering schedule. I figure better a littly shy on watering than overwatering. After all it's a weed anyway right!? Transplanting will be in a week or so. Wish me luck! I am going with 3 gallon pots.

Question about Nutes added to watering.

I will take your advice and alternate between plain water and water with nutes. What nutes do you suggest for flowering?

Ok my plants are healthy and 4 weeks. I have them on an 18/6 schedule from seedling. My light is four 23 watt hundred watt equivalent CFL's hanging on two Y-adapters an inch over the two plants. What im i doing wrong

Your plants looks just like mine at 4 weeks! It looks healthy and green! Its the exact same size too. I am concerned about transplanting, and wat to give it another good week. I have begun nutes and think you should (GRADUALLY) if you're not already. As for light the more the merrier I hear I...

Question about Nutes added to watering.

Ok as a poor newbie I grabbed some Shultz 10-15-10 plant food my pops had lying around. I am guilty of not gradually introducing it. Instead I followed the directions which state 7 liquid drops to a quart of water. My current plan is to water with these nutes twice a week. My plants are only 4...

Watering how much is too much???

Ok I am at 4 weeks now. I have cut watering back to every 3-4 days. I am trying to wait for the cups to get nice and light. I want the plants to use up all the water and those roots to search for it! However I don't want to overdue it. I last watered Sunday. Then I'll go without water Mon...

Plants look good but I have some yellow/brown leaves Help?!?

Thanks so do you think it's ok to keep watering with the nutes full strength? It's Shultz plant food 10-15-10 I am using seven drops to a quart of water. Seems pretty diluted to me. How about light is 18/6 cool to stay on? Or perhpas more light hours? When would you all transplant? Some say now...

Plants look good but I have some yellow/brown leaves Help?!?

Ok my plants seem to be doing fairly well for only 4 weeks. However I noticed a set of yellow/brown leaves at the bottom of one of my two seedlings. Could it be too much nutes? I have cut my watering back to every 3 to 4 days. However I have begun introducing nutes in the water. I didn't...

What is the difference btween stealth DWC and Bubbleponics?

Thanks for all the extra advice. I will research that extra info as well. Thanks for helping me to understand the difference in dwc and bubbleponics. I think I like the bubbleponics system a bit more. Seems more advanced and I could benefit from a jump in vegetative growth.

What is the difference btween stealth DWC and Bubbleponics?

Ok I dont mean to be rude to anyone. My original post did ask the difference between stealth dwc and bubbleponics. It didn't say anything about how to build one. Everyone has preference and thats ok. I do enjoy the growing aspects, just not fabrication as much. I know I will need spend time to...

What is the difference btween stealth DWC and Bubbleponics?

Ok everyone always says that. Make it yourself. I'd rather pay a few extra bucks and not have to worry about any mistakes or trial and error. I just want to know the difference, and really cant see much difference besides the names, and number of pots. As for nutrients I'd rather go with the...

What is the difference btween stealth DWC and Bubbleponics?

Looking to buy a stealth hydro system. What is the difference between DWC and bubbleponics. I am teetering between the DWC with 4 pots and the 6 pot bubblepnics. The only difference I see is that the bubbleponics seems to have an airstone twice the size as the 4 pot DWC. Also since the watering...

    When to transplant/soil question?

I see so I must wait at least 3 more weeks. I'll try at maybe seven weeks. And next time I'll try your tip and just grow them in 3 to 5 gal pots. Why even transplant if you dont have to?! I guess I am going to have to wait until the plant looks about twice as big. Then I'll know the root system...

Ha thats cool. I like the idea of giving the cat the male plants too! However adding a little security latch is a good idea too. That loser with the duct tape should be arrested.

    Damned cat!

Yeah I wont be so hard on him. I usually do have a water bottle on hand. I just kinda snapped and beat his tail. I guess cause how much love went into keeping those little seedlings healthy. I'll have to burn one with him in the end to make it up! Just kidding.

    Damned cat!

Yes I have one houseplant for this very same reason. And I keep a close eye on it. At this point I just prefer to keep that cat afraid of anything green! If he touches any plants hes gonna get it. I dont think he'll be back. However I am not leaving him an open opportunity!
