leaves dying fast, tiny bud leaves aswell, lets throw around some thoughts

also keep in mind that when your plants go into flowering, they get a lot of the nutrients that go into bud production from the existing leaves. its normal to see the surrounding leaves begin to wilt/die a little, but it looks like its sucking them dry to me. probably add some bud bloom nute in...

Young Plant Problems, Please Help!!! (PICS INCLUDED)

doktor doom or drown with co2 are some other effective methods. check undersides of leaves for anything suspicious. yellow speckles will appear on tops of leaves where mites have been; usually brown spots underneath. also this is where they lay their eggs and they reproduce FAST.

Young Plant Problems, Please Help!!! (PICS INCLUDED)

id say go for it. you dont want the roots to clump up a lot on the bottom, which will start happening pretty soon.

    what is causing this?

probably two different issues here. browning/drying/curling at tips and the occasional brown spot. would really appreciate some help finding the reason as it does not seem to be getting better since a few days ago.

curling and brown spots on lower leaves

i recently discovered some lower leaves browning at the tips, and curling down and or up. some of the leaves have just brown spots on them but are otherwise in good form. most of the rest of the leaves on the plant are healthy. most recent events was that i switched back to an MH bulb in a...

What is the max temperature you can grow at?

cheapest way would be to implement a passive air circulation system with even just one decently powerful fan sucking heat up and away (you can get some ducting at lowes or home depot). or even just adding some fans near the base blowing up against the bulbs will help raise the cooler air and...

Young Plant Problems, Please Help!!! (PICS INCLUDED)

yeah get the top cm pretty moist. when its got some real leaves the roots should be far enough down to be looking for nutes. thats not too bad for a day, but you really just need to get a new light.

    Grow tent ventilation

a simple passive intake/exhaust setup can go a long way to knock down temps. even if you aren't hitting particularly high temps, its still a good idea as it will bring in fresh air that the plants need.
