I dont think those temps are bad at all. I'm 75 lights on and 62 - 63 lights out.. I try to make sure there is an approx. 10 deg. flux. in lights on/ lights out temps.

I'd buy the HPS... My ballasts can run either ones,, I veg and flower with HPS...
