He just IM'd me to tell me to add use straight vinigar in place of the nutrient solution for the flush dont water it down as it isnt strong enough to melt it even 50 % vinigar 50% water must be straight to melt the molasses

yup my friend had a similar problem with his aeroponics setup and molasses, he just took all his baskets out and packed the roots in wet perlite for a day or 2 while he used vinigar to melt the chuncks of crap stuck in the misters , then he flushed the whole thing out with a high ph water...

yeah i know its a very bright temp to burn at. most people on the aquarium sights were saying that they were better for lighting but their aquatic plants suffered for it and grew slower etc. okay sweet thats a simple solution i'll just purchase a 6500K lamps for it.....sweet just found one on...

Does anyone know if a 150W 20,000k marine metal hailide is any good for a small vegitative grow closet or is the color temp too high as i have noticed most agricultural metal halides burn at between 4000k and 7000k, but the info that i have red on aquarium websites say that the 20,000K lamps...

i'd just go with 2 0r 3 cool white energy saver compact fluorescent lights and then switch to warm whites when u want to budd them up and i'd spray paint the whole inside of the case white or line it with mylar sheeting to get the maximum efficiency out of the lights. and i would also consider...

My guess is that someone has been beating off over ur tank man :-) ... or it could be some sort of glue that was used to join pipes etc when the watering system or draining system was put togeather?
