Hey guys this is the 2nd week of flowering, The first plant is showing signs of female. And this is the other plant. I think there are white hairs growing out of the inside of the leaf structure? Do they Both look female? Thanks for any help.

Just do a normal knot, as long as you dont tighten it to much you'll be fine :D tie a piece of string around the start of the stem and tape it, then You can tie the rest of the plant. When new growth appears, Tie back new leaves, allowing as much light to the stem to help new growth. Good luck!

looks good, but I would recomend tying where the stem comes out the soil, to the pot. So basically you want the stem to come out of the soil as straight as possible before bending it. Otherwise the plant will just grow sideways. Good luck with the rest of your grow :D

Hey guys, This is the first week of flowering, the plant is 8 weeks old from seed, Is it looking ok? Also I cant see any signs of sex yet, How long normally before you can tell? Or is every plant different? This was the plant 10 days ago. And this is it today.

hmmm well thanks :L naa it is working but this is my first grow, so im guessing you learn as u progress? ohh right I thought the stipules was the 2 things coming off of the stem? This one is coming from inside the stem.

Thank you very much! Using your method I've estimated it to be about 30 Inches as its roughly about 12 inches now. It's hard to measure as its been tied down. I think I will give it another week or 2 then switch. Thanks again calicat.

Just wondering if my plant is ready to be switched over to 12/12 from 18/6 It is 6 weeks and 2 days old from seed and growing using Cfl's, Lst grow. It has alternating nodes but can't be seen from the pics. Im not sure weather its male or female? There is something coming out of the stem looks...

I've just transplanted it in the big pot as it outgrew the other one :L But yeah it is a little small as it was growing in the window for a couple of weeks and wasn't growing then I added it under lights. Yeah I think I'm going to leave it a couple more weeks then. Thanks you.

Thank you Slipon for the information It has come in very helpful. The plant is tied down (Lst) and I made some sort of hood with a bit of curve in and lined it with aluminium tape. Everything seems ok so far. Here are some pics of my Lst, Does it look Ok?
