Is there an optimal temp. to keep the reservoir water at in a hydro setup? My water temp is about 75 degrees with the lights running. Don't know at knight though Bought a self thermistatically controlled fishtank heater that regulates at 78 degrees.Good idea or not? :peace: Schmokee:joint:

thanks for the input gents. more still welcomed.will have to check on a RO system. Store bought distilled H2O adds up over time and I dont like the exposure of having to constantly buy distilled water ( I do rotate stores though).

On my first dro grow and I have been buying and using only distilled water. Plants are lovin' it. I was wondering if tap water run through say a Brita water filter or dedicated charcoal filter would be just as good? I am using General Hydroponics flora series , which hase "PH buffers" in it. I...

If growing with hydro. Is is best to start and keep mama's in soil and just S.O.G. all the clones in hydro? Seems like it would be less work to keep mama thriving/alive in dirt (less maintenance and cost). dont want to lose any plants going from hydro to soil and them having stress from transfer...
