Thanks for the words of caution. We use it quite frequently in our vegetable garden. It's the only non organic product used. On cannabis I'd only use it in veg and very early flower.

Old thread, but relevant to those seeking to scrog a dwc. I mimicked this build and couldn't be more pleased. Easy peasy, pretty sturdy, light weight, collapsible. Note, the dimensions given will have a finished product of 23 1/2" x 25". Lengths can easily be made different per application.

I built a scrog frame for dwc today, and found some super heavy duty tomato cages for the base of my soil scrogs. Once I bite the bullet and add 3 more 1k hps I'll take down a tent and build a retractable scrog in my flower room based on your concept here. Note: not using white buckets ;^)

I started at 25% and will work them up. I'm now battling off the chart humidity in my new grow area. Purchased a 70 pint dehumidifier to hopefully rectify the issue. I'm thinking the great increase in humidity is at least in part caused by the evaporation from the grow bags themselves.

I'm looking into adding a dehumidifier to a grow room sized 7ft x 4ft x 9ft tall and need advise on what capacity dehumidifier to purchase. RH is running 55-60%, temp 85-88f on a closed system with co2, window ac 5k btu, 1k light vented outside. Any and all experienced opinions appreciated.

I like seeing the photo updates :) The plants look to be doing real well. 2 bulbs, gotcha. I'm with you on ordering online versus local shops, they do tend to break it off in your ass for the convenience. Do you have a favorite website you order from?

Brita is the cheapest "partial fix" I know of. I'm buying distilled now, but plan to add a R/O soon. Amazon has some as low 160 bucks...wouldn't take too awful long to spend that at Walmart on distilled...

Be sure you're drawing fresh air in low and pulling the hot air from the top of the cab out. If you have a vent up high then you may be doing more harm than good. Try blocking the top vent and check temps. What are your room temps and cabinet temps with lights on?
