    Brand New 400 HPS and too much free time!

    I have one grow under my belt, I have a600W to veg my plants in a 5x5x6.5 space.....I add a 400 watt hps when I flower....in your setup, I don't know about the lighting, it may be a little weak.....IMHO I think the less plants the better in our sized grow rooms.

    AI got a 5x5x6.5 area and I do what the guy above me said I boguht the htgsupply.com $199fan and filter combo........424 cfm, more than pleanty for my little area ,works like a champ, a little loud but get controls on it and you are fine...

    I would agree, just relax, my bro is a cop in the town where I work and I know for a fact they don't do that shit here, in the mountains east of me they use a helicopter to see rugged sites that can't be reached by land...#1 thing to do is not tell anyone about it.....talking lips sinks ships...

    I would check out HTGsupply, I don't know if you are in the market for a carbon filter as well but they have a killer combon on a fan and filter, both high quality worksmanship, for $199...the downside is the fan is pretty loud, but I am in the process of building a box to knock down the noise

    agreed....I have the 6'' fan and filter combo from HTG supply...and it's 424 cfm too much for my 5x5x6.5 room but it's better to move and remove than not enough

    I think co2 while vegging helps the plants grow but what do I know, I'm a noob.....everytime I grow it's a science experiment, you can do a bunch of shit till you find out something that works for you...

    yeah it's an air colled reflector that came with the 600 watter, another thing to consider is how hot it gets here in the summer...100++, maybe the A/C is the way to go

    If I run a 600w light and ballast, a 400 w and a inline fan, regular oscialting fan, and the AC will kick on here in the summer, is that too mucht o run in my spare bedroom in my brand new hosue, thanks for the reply..
