Well its not actually when they show sex , because they can show sex in Vegetative, if you want to count the flowering time the best way to do it its when you see the first sign of flowering pistils , that will give you the most accurate date to compare to your seed provider Times of Flowering...

they can flower as long its not to much its hard to guess, but it will stress your plants a bit , but whats the amount of light ? its the Light from an artificial source? or sun light ? to our eyes may be the same but the plant its completly diferent.
