Hey man, are you sure it isnt because of the heat wave? I mean, it sounds like you got the nice end of it, but down here in Missouri, we have had a heat index of 110+ for the last 6 days.... perhaps the heat is zapping your plant's water supply?
Well, here we are....just over 8 weeks from seed and a little over 3 weeks since my last photo update... and here is the HUGE lone survivor of the original three seedlings... not too shabby if i do say so myself. :D
Little white hairs=female....little green balls=male. the time it takes to show sex is dependent on many different factors, but if u just switched to a flowering 12/12 cycle, it shouldnt be long (maybe a week or two at most) before it starts showing signs of its sex. Here's to hoping its a...
tested the pH a few weeks ago and its in the correct range...around 6.0-6.8. Im using an organic potting soil/perlite mix @ 4-1 ratio. I have had a successful crop using the same lighting with no issues. plant food is Miracle-Gro Liquid All Purpose Plant Food (8-7-6)
OK... maybe I'm overreacting, but I'm guessing that sun leaves curling into this shape probably aren't a good sign.... any suggestions?
Grow room stats:
Dual T8 18" Plant/Aquarium Florescent lamps (shitty, I know)
Occasional use of Miracle gro liquid plant food
Watering with bottled water...
Thanks for all the + cred guys and a big thanks to plantvision for helping spread this wealth of knowledge around. My main goal is to inform. So enjoy!!!

If they were showing preflower, I would say it is a male... but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Im guessing a possible mutation affecting the nodes? Give it another week and see what happens. Im sure it is ok tho
I live in Kansas City, MO and I can assure you... we ARE NOT a medical state. there is a bill in the House right now trying to pass the law, but nothing positive as of yet. Believe me... if there were any truth to this, we would know. :D
I really do appreciate your help. I need all the help I can get. Are you talking about the corkscrew style CFL's? I was thinking about trying that. But where would I get the mounts for the bulbs? Or would it be cheaper to just buy 4 of those closet style outlets and mounting them on the...
I was thinking about doing that...But im not really sure how to go about it without breaking it or stressing it too much... Could you help walk me through it?
I'm using two T8 Plant/Aquarium bulbs at the moment and I Have them about 4" above her right now. At this point, with only one plant left, it's not really cost-effective to add any more lights. But I was considering lining the walls with the reflective side of some aluminum foil or one of those...
Always glad to help out my fellow horticulturalists. :D If you guys find any other books that u would like me to upload, just let me know.... chances are I will be able to get it up here for ya within 24 hours.
Well, more bad news. I just noticed that the smaller of my remaining 2 plants has also developed male characteristics.... Im getting nervous now. I only have one left.....i think it looks like a female.... but i could sure use some reassurance in the matter...
Let me know what you think...
