I've used it for at least 30 years and yes it is great. There is a "food grade" that people eat. Colon cleansing stuff. Not me. The stuff for pool filters has the bad silica and no don't breathe it. It is great for pets and livestock for ticks and fleas. For all types of plants. It's fantastic!
